A Little Busy

I’m sorry for no “real” post this week, time just got away from me.  Dolly things have been going on, though.  The StarrshineDesigns order came in and I bought a used 1/3 body from Facebook that also arrived, and I did a face-up for the head intended for it.  I tried to take pictures of everything but they didn’t come out very well and I haven’t been able to retake them yet.

In other news, I’m thinking about packing up some of my dolls.  They’re mostly out of the way, so I was going to wait until later, but I realized that packing anything fragile is more time consuming so that I should start on them sooner.  (I plan on packing them as if I were selling them and shipping them.  I don’t know who will end up handling them or where they’ll be put amongst our stuff, so better safe than sorry.)  Now to figure out which ones get to go first…

GuppyKisses Etsy Order

Back in September, I made an order from Guppykisses on Etsy and it arrived while I was gone.  First up, here’s Taryn modeling the outfit I got her.

I was only going to get the pants because I loved the graffiti print, but I decided to get a top to go with it when I saw this one.  It’s actually sized for SD10 but because the material is so stretchy it fits without looking like it’s too tight.  In fact, it has a lot more give left to it.  It’s a really nice material and I wish I knew what it was called so I could get some for myself!  The pants were made for Feeple60 Moe so they fit her just right.  And, because I chopped off her head in the above pictures, here’s Taryn herself.

The next outfit is two pieces that I bought that aren’t necessarily meant to go together, but here’s Andee modeling them.

I really just bought the tights because I thought they looked cool.  They were made for Minifee A-line, so they bunch up at the bottom on Moe legs.  I shoved all the bunches up under the shirt. lol   I’m not sure what I’ll do with the tights yet.  They look okay with this top for now.

The top stretches a bit on the Minifee full bust.  You can see through it a little bit due to the stretching.  It still works okay, though.  I was going to put it on Piper, but decided that she didn’t need to get all the edgy themed clothes.  She can certainly borrow it, though.

You can see that I went with a dark theme, perhaps inspired by Halloween.  I made sure that they were pieces that could be worn all year around, though.  Along with the order came an eraser shaped like a doughnut.  It’s roughly SD sized.  And, of course, I didn’t take a picture of it.

I also made another order from StarrshineDesigns around the same time as the Guppykisses order, and I got a notification of it being shipped yesterday, so that will be here soon.  It has the same theme as this order.

I’m Back Again!

Well, I’ve returned from our trip to the house.  It was a much more laid back week but we did get some plumbing and electrical done.  The bathroom still isn’t finished, though!  We spent a lot of time wandering around, too, so I got a lot more pictures of the property this time.

The very next day after we got back, I was ready to go back home.  It was during that week that I suddenly realized that that’s what it is–home.  Up until then, it was as if I was seeing everything from an outside perspective.  Plus, nothing is getting done while we’re away, so that’s kind of frustrating.

The next trip may be in November, but I probably won’t get going.  My husband and possibly my oldest will be going to finish the bathroom and a few other things, and then the rest of us will move after the holidays if everything goes according to plan–which it hasn’t so far.  XD

Here’s a few pictures from around the property.  I’m amazed at how much wildlife there is, and just how easy it is to find it.

Also, I was correct in assuming that a doll package would arrive while I was away, so I’ll be sharing that soon.
